Beginner Class at 11am focuses on the Authentic Art of Egyptian and Turkish Belly Dance, Following principles of the Serena Technique, Amara provides foundations of technique that will have you dancing From the first class. Classical, Cabaret, Folkloric, Shaabi styles are part of all classes at Tapestry Intermediate Class at noon focuses on advanced combinations, layering and integration of all props (zills, veils, skirt, cane, sword, candle trays and more) for preparation for group and solo choreographies Advanced / Professional Class focuses on Performance and Improvisation Art of Belly Dance. Performance opportunities are available for all students at Tapestry. PRIVATE CLASSES BY APPOINTMENTAmara teaches in a progressive style that has you dancing from your first class. Classes include: Fundamentals and advanced techniques of basic body movements, shimmies and vibrations traveling steps, turns, zils, veils and performance techniques. Additional training in props and performance dynamics follow your basic training. Choreographies are included for group and solo performances with The World Artists Dance Theatre
