On Sunday, January 16th, Amara Al Amir organized and produced  a wonderful BELLY DANCE GALA.  Many beautiful dancers garbed in glitter and gold performed an array of Middle Eastern pieces including the traditional  Dance Oriental as well as cane, sword, and candle dances.  The event also featured the music of the Scott Wilson Ensemble for audience dancing and listening pleasure. Led by Scott on his unique triple-necked combination oud/ saz/guitar/ Amara performed with the grace she always brings to the dance floor, moving with an ethereal lightness and finesse.  She delighted the crowd with her veil and cane dance and flamboyant fan piece.Amara Al Amir is truly a creative artist who is dedicated to promoting the Art of Belly Dance.  She shares her passion with the community, continues to expand her vision, and should be applauded for her efforts...Satarah
